Recently Mama was at Great Plains SPCA-Independence with her friends Kathryn and Lisa (aka the Mom over at A Tonk's Tail) when she learned a fun new craft. Kathryn was making puzzle treat cups for the kitties. There are a whole lot of cats at Great Plains right now and it's hard to make sure they all have stimulation and toys. This craft not only gives them those things, but lets them eat some yummy treats, too! It's easy to make a bunch of treat cups. All you need are some small disposable bathroom cups and some cat treats. Here is what Mama used:
You can also use empty toilet paper rolls and dry kibble if that's what you have on hand. Check out Mama's instructional video about how to make them!
Mama used the whole box of cups and donated 200 of the puzzle cups to Great Plains (along with the mousies from her Mice Bucket Challenge). Thanks so much to Auntie Kathryn for sharing a great idea with us!
