Featured Furries-Chauncy and Mary

UPDATE: Today (November 5, 2014) Mary and Chauncy were adopted together! Congrats to these two girls and their new family!

Mama didn't have a whole lot of time to spend at the shelter this week, but she ran by to drop off some Halloween rugs for the kitties. It spruces up their rooms a bit and gets everyone in a Halloweenie mood.

After she put a rug in every room, she noticed an orange kitty with a very interesting face. She decided to go in and say hi.

That kitty turned out to be Chauncy, a 6 year old girl who came in with her sister Mary, also 6. Both kitties are orange tabbies, but Chauncey almost has the face of a persian; just a bit flat. They are also both front declawed.

Mary and Chauncy would love to go home together since they've lived together all this time and came to the shelter together. If you would like to meet these girls, you can visit them at Great Plains SPCA in Merriam. They will be happy you stopped by!

  1. Mary and Chauncy are lovely. We hope they find a forever home together real soon.

Thank you to your Mama for spreading some Halloween cheer to the shelter kitties!

  2. They both are beautiful girls with such soulful faces! Paws crossed they find a great home soon!

  3. Halloween rugs.. what a brilliant idea!

I hope their furever home shows up soon!
