Mai the Malayan Tiger

To celebrate our anniversary last week, we went to Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium. My favorite animal there by far was Mai, a Malayan Tiger in the Cat Complex. Besides just being a gorgeous big cat, Mai was special because she was missing one of her front legs. She got around just fine, though. I hope I get to go back and see her some day.

    Mai is beautiful! We are glad she;s safe and well-taken care of at the Henry Doorly Zoo. :)

    That is fascinating, and quite beautiful. It is interesting to watch her walk because it almost looks like she is holding her paw way up in the air..
