Readpawty Review: Dog On It by Spencer Quinn

For this month's #readpawty I read "Dog On It" by Spencer Quinn. It is part of the Chet and Bernie mystery series. Bernie is the human and Chet is the dog; together they are the Little Detective Agency.

Bernie and Chet get a job to find a missing teenage girl. Both of them have ways of figuring out the case, but since humans don't communicate very well with animals, they can't put all the pieces of the puzzle together right away. Eventually, Bernie finds the missing girl (waaaay after Chet found her) and the case is closed!

Chet isn't the brightest dog-he's certainly no Enzo!-but he's smart enough to figure out who the bad guys are. He isn't too fond of cats, which is a problem for me, but I didn't mind reading about him. In fact, he's got his own blog, too. You should check it out!

  2. If we read that book to start with, will we be confused? How many in the series? Love that pic of Sebastian napping on the book, MOL.

  3. Tatiana and Bailey-I believe there are 3 books in the series and this is the first one. I'm not sure yet if I'm going to read the others. If you do, let me know how they are!
