Anipal Photo Hunt #6: Adopt A Less Adoptable Pet Week Challenge

I'll be posting all week for the #BeTheChange challenge to spotlight less adoptable pets, but for this week's Anipal Photo Hunt I'll throw in an extra!

This is Sarah. She's considered less adoptable because she's 12 years old. Some people don't want to adopt pets of a certain age, but an older pet can have so many advantages! They are usually already litter/house trained, they have settled into their personalities and many times they come with background information.

Sarah is available for adoption at Wayside Waifs in Kansas City.

  1. She looks like a real sweetie too. I'm hoping all our featured anipals find a forever home like we have.

  2. We get so tired of hearing people say "I want a puppy... I want a kitten..." They think they be blank slates wot they can make wot they want out of but that is so not true. They alreddy has individual purrsonalities and you cannot change that. You cannot even modify the behavior unless you is very eggsperienced and most people is not. Like you writed, with an older anipal you see eggsactly wot you is getting. And they bond just the same as the yunguns, prolly even more so coz they know the difference atween hasing it good and hasing it bad. We wish Sarah the bestest of luck in finding her furever home.
